M1400 Drivers for Windows Vista

Here are a collection of drivers for the M1400 that are sure to work. Please feel free to email me if you have found better drivers. Be sure to download the updates in the Update section for maximum stability.

Motion Dashboard v5010

I have found that the XP dashboard driver for the LE1700 Tablet PC works for the M1400 on Vista with no problem. The previous dashboard versions I have found have not been able to load, and the bluetooth would only work about 35% of the time. Now the dashboard will come up when you push the button.

New Features include: screen dim functions to save battery life, ding for audio slider changes.

Sigmatel C-Major Audio v16

This works in the same manor as it did for XP, i have tried numerous other Sigmatel ac97 drivers also Realtek and Sigmatel while trying to get the array mics working. These are the only drivers that enable sound and the microphone and speaker jacks.

Authentec Aes2501 v.7.7.0.26 Fingerprint Sensor

These are just the actual drivers to enable the Fingerprint Sensor on the M1400 on windows vista. This does not include Omnipass which is available as a trial version from Motion Computing here.

Bluetooth

Download Motion Dashboard v5.0.1.0

By downloading and installing the LE1700 Motion Dashboard v5010 above, it will install the drivers for the built in Bluetooth in the M1400 and enable it. Afterward an update for Microsoft Bluetooth should be available from Windows update. You can enable or disable it from the dashboard.

Installing this driver will enable the advanced pressure-sensitive feature on your M1400 tablet pc.
